Google bot use to visit my site almost daily. My site is updated daily and I have links on several pr 5+ sites. I can't figure out why google bot has stopped crawling my site. Is anyone with a joomla site having this problem?
Joomla is a powerful CMS most of the content are being called from the database that makes the pages take a while to load. I am not sure if bots takes burden on this.
I have a Joomla website that I've submitted to Google a long time ago. But Google hasn't indexed it yet. My website is designed such that I just have one link on the home page and clicking that loads a dynamically generated page ( from database) which inturn loads more dyn-generated pages. Even if Google were to just index the homepage, I should have seen my homepage in the search results when I search for my site in Google. But that's not happening. Searching for mywebsite.com yields no results. How do I know whether GoogleBot's visiting my site or not? I read somewhere that Google Analytics cannot be used to track GoogleBot visits. Is there any other tracking tool for Joomla that logs GoogleBot activity?
Are you signed up for Google Webmaster Tools? It can give you the details about when googlebot crawls your site and let you set the crawl frequency. It also has a bunch of other cool features.
