There were some studies that told us that Yahoo search is more accurate than Google. Google returns a lot more results but there are a lot of spammy sites that come in front because there are many SEOs that can bring 'em up. Yahoo hasn't got that and they contain more results related to the search.

Is this a loaded question??? Am I on canid camera???

Yes... Google is much better at getting out the spammy websites but Yahoo is much better than they used to be... just not as good as Google.

I vote for G as it has a lot less "spammy" site listed in the results then Y does. Plus I have a G toolbar not a Y search bar :)

I usually get the desired information from Google but Yahoo is not that bad either. It's just that I use Google in first place - kinda clean :)

I think Google is on the top and then on the second place comes Yahoo.

Google is closing in on 70% of the search market, regardless of whether they are "better" than Yahoo or not, the market has pretty much decided.

Yahoo has most of the spammy sites banned and has relevant results altho I still prefer good and it shows more results and I decide whats spam!

Secondly on user level google experience is much more faster than yahoo, yahoo has a extremely bulky homepage which annoys me a lot!

I choose google. It's better than in Yahoo. Though there are times that they have spammy reasults but you can get more relevant result in google than in yahoo.

Yeap sure, I use Google, because I always gets what I want. Only in the rare cases that I can't get, I will turn to Yahoo and whatever left over of those search engines.

Yahoo results are more relevant to the search query, I can see from my experience.
For users coming from Yahoo on my sites, the bounce rate is 40-50%.
For users coming from Google, the bounce rate is >60%.
So, the users coming from Yahoo found what they searched for and they are more interested in the informartions offered by my sites.

I always use google for searching as it's much more simple than yahoo to use and I tend to get better results with google. I've only rarely used yahoo search and found it much slower. So, yes google is much better than yahoo.

I can't say which one provides better results but usually I will alternate and use both to see what comes out. But generally I found the results given by google are more relevant to my search.
