Is google allows to put ads on Shareware programs

    Hi all,

    I have seen many shareware softwares which uses many ad banners (I haven't seen google's). Is google allows to use the adsense in shareware/freeware softwares?

    As we all know Firefox is making more money from google.

    Any comments will be appreciated.

    I have seen advertisements in ebook creaters, but not sure if those people contacted the advertisers personally, or using some service.
    You probably can start distributing the software, keep track of how many times the software was downloaded, and then when it's high, sell some advertising via forums or something... :)
