Is google adwords right for me?

    Hi folks,

I'm currently running a website that promotes gambling in UK and Europe.

Basically, it links to top rated gambling sites for poker, casinos, gambling etc

The primary purpose is that it affiliates with other sites what we think are the best and most secure to play with and hopefully converts to a bit of cash on our part.

However, since running adwords for approx 45 days, I have had some successful conversions and made a small amount but not as much as i'd like to. In this time i have been running 2 campaigns, one for casinos and one for poker.

The casino ads have been suspended 3 times and the poker ones have been suspended once but are still running due to a resubmit. I understand that if i keep doing this the ads will become suspended permanently and account closed.

I guess the bottom line is:

Is there any way i can make my ads work with the site or is this kind of thing not acceptable at all?

    Thanks in advance

    :)

Google adwords will not allow you to advertise anything related to gambling, so no it's not right for you.

ok, kind of the answer i was looking for, however, i search keywords that i am currently using and have previously had suspended, however, competitors websites are still showing with what should be banned search terms and banned ad text

    how does this work then?

also; as mentioned above, is there any way i can make it work with this kind of site? thanks for taking time out to comment :)

I see alot of sites that should not be listed by adwords. I guess they advertise untill site is banned. Then get new account and advertise again.

I would say try some other ad sites. Thier are some that allow it and get good results.

thanks rcj662, my next step was to look around for other ppc sites that allow gambling links, only problem there is that traffic is going to be much less %

anyone care to comment on the above or do people not know how they get away with it?

also, i've read a few tips about making a landing page that links to a page related to free stuff or gambling but point them at gambling pages from the landing page, is this allowed?

    cheers
