Hello, Lately I've been reading alot about google adsense and other ways to make money online and I think I'm well equiped with the information I need to start something but most websites that I've seen making money with google adsense are mostly blogs, forums, or something similar. English isn't my first language, and writing is really not my favourite thing to do, so blogs really don't work for me, but I am a good programmer(I know some C++, PHP, Lua, Python, and I have experience with SQL databases). So my question is: Would google adsense work well with something other than blogs, or is blogs really the best thing for it? I don't have any ideas for now, I can't think of anything that's cool but doesn't infringe copyright laws, so would really appreciate any ideas as well. Best Regards, Ispiro.
No Google Adsense isn't just good for Blogs, There are many other websites which have Adsense ads on their website and earning good income. For example: You can make a website in which you offer a free softwares to download and free songs to download. Or you can make other tutorial websites.
It also works well with Forum sites... just look around here. "Simple Machines Forum" is a great open source package that has plugins available to deliver the adsense in lot's of different ways.
A blog is a site which capability to add new content. There is virtually no difference with a conventional site and blog. A blog is just easier for people who do not have basic web design skills. For me, static sites generates more income because i find it easy to fine tune and optimize it for adsense.
No, Google adsen is not only for blog but also it provides for different types of websites such as static website, dynamic website.
I put Google Adsense on my sites on 3-4 strategic places. Above the fold has the biggest chance to be clicked
