    Where you heard about that? The nofollow links nullify the importance at SERPs.

    Yahoo accept nofollow links and all type of links. But with Google , nofollow links is not valuable .

    Yes. NOFOLLOW links are counted as a backlink, However, the domain PR and other things are not passed for authority of the site. You will be getting just a backlink. That is it :)
