Is getting check in USD in India will trouble ??

I setup an Adsense a/c and forget choosing currency as INR.
Now, my account is showing earnings in $$. I can not change currency to INR now, right?

Just want to know, if I get a cheque in $$ in India, will I get any trouble in cashing it from my bank. My bank is SBI.

well, I suggest using western Union, much faster and more guaranteed,

 

No you wont have any problem as I get many cheques from adbrite which are in USD coz adbrite doesnt use INR . It will just take some time and they charge some fees for conversion and all .

 

You won't get any trouble. If you get checks in rupees it will take less than 4 days to credit to your account. But if you get check in $$ it will take 1 wk or some time more than 1wk. that's all.

you would be payed in Indian Rupee. But your earnings will be displayed in US $. At the time u reach $100 ur exchange rate would be multiplied and u will receive the same amount which u earned in $'s in the form of Rupess. I have been using it in India for 4yrs now

 

you can always and always change the currency to which ever one you like, i have done that several times. and moreover it will not give you ANY PROBLEM, no it wont

You can change the currency type any time. And its not any problem if you choose to receive the payment in dollar's.

 

Does it make a different in the time for the clearance of check.
Will check in Indian currency will clear more quickly?

 

INR check will be cleared in 2 days (assuming you have a Citibank branch in your city).

USD check will take 3-4 weeks and you will have to pay Rs 250 - Rs 500 as clearing charges (depending on your bank).
