I'm looking for information on anyone who has come across competitors stuffing their site pages with hundreds of cities in order to rank their keywords in these areas. So far it seems to be working for a few people but I thought it to be somewhat greyhat seo and rather not go there. Eg. Servicing "real estate" agents in Miami, Florida, Georgia, Chicago etc in order to drive real estate web traffic from these areas. Is this effective? Any thoughts? Thanks
It might work in the short-term but if that's what your competitors are doing, you'll be able to blow them away by optimizing your pages the correct way - by focusing on a city (or a few cities) per page. Travis
