Hi Guys, I am in the process of building a gaming website, I want to know is gaming a good niche for Adsense? Can I expect high paying clicks and what is the other best methods to monetize a gaming website?
From what I've seen on this forum, it's a pretty low paying niche and not many click. Of course, you could be different, depending on your design.
It is a good niche although game niche is low pay niche This is because game niche can easily get traffic and game lover like to click ads
I don't think you'll earn much from gaming niche. I see lots of other people using other method like CPA or other advertising company specifically for gaming niche. But of course you can still earn decent income if your traffic is good enough.
i run a game site, for almost 2 months, the average CPC is less than 4 cents. you will earn better CPC only if you have millions of visitors/month and use multi-ads networks, like CMPStar, Ads4Game......etc game niche is highly competitive and lower paying KW
Unless anything has changed in the recent past I recall seeing regular threads from people running gaming sites with Adsense who have complained about the CTR and low earnings per click.
Bad advice. OP, gaming as in video games or gambling? Adsense is not permitted on gambling related websites.
You'd be better off finding a decent CPA network, there are many gaming offers out there that may convert well on your site.
