Is GA a good idea for billing purposes?

Let's say my site has 10 banner ads...

I've solicited these 10 separate businesses and have struck up an agreement stating that for every person that clicks on their banner, I am then owed 5 cents...

Of course, the way to track how many people click on their banner, is through GA...

    (1) Is GA known and trusted enough so that I could print the analysis at the end of the month and send it to the businesses with an invoice?

    (2) Is there any way I can allow the businesses to log into the GA account, so they can see for themselves?

    Thanks,
    B -

    Oh well, no big deal.

Sure, you can print and show to your advertisers.

Or, you can authorize them to view the statistic and assign them a low permission, so they can't change your settings.

This could potentially be extremely helpful in my situation. You can actually do that on GA??? That is amazing. But just so I'm not dreaming though; can someone "second" confirm this?

if you, or someone, could elaborate on this just a tad, it would be helpful.

Have you considered using Google Ad Planner?

    http://www.google.com/adplanner/

You link it to your Analytics account, then potential advertisers can see the data.

Adplanner would work but I think the pdf version of the number included in my report to the customer should suffice. It is always better to have corroborating metrics but you do what you can and just make sure it is agreed upon to start with.

i don't think google anayltics is the good thing for that ..
or you make a html page linking fro mthe banner .. so you can track exactly hwo many click you get on the banner

i am sure GA is good but its results are contradictory to other similar products which makes this service shaky from business point of view. You have to write some legal terms and conditions b4 using with your bzns partners. The best thing is to keep a private log as well on your site just to make sure. You cna use the GA API as well to log privately.
