I am using free wordtracker too for keywords http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/ For one of the keyword, it is showing 3300 searches per day [ i think, searches given here are per day not per month, correct me if i am wrong ] For that keyword, i website is on number 5 in google and i merely receive only 120 visitors per day. I know that, number 5 website will receive quite lower visitors in comparison to number 1. But still i was expecting to receive around 500 visitors. So my question is, do you think that wordtracker estimation is good enough ?
I think it is not accurate but using keywords from this tool will bring usually good amount of traffic.
Earlier, I used to think that wordtracker estimation is much lesser than the actual the number of visitors on google for any keyword. But here it seems to be just opposite
Wordtracker is poor and conflicts.....Wordtracker gathers information from the very very very small search engines which account for about 1% of all searches. Basically Wordtracker uses an estimation calculation to calculate searches on the major search engines such as Google etc. You should us the Google traffic estimator, it is based on actual average click through rates of Adwords....If a term is clickable and searched and there are advertisers paying to advertise then obviously it is profitable. The wordtracker does work in some instances but not 100% all the time. Hope this helps.
