I'd avoid free hosting like a plague. It's fine if you just want to host your hobby pictures or something like, I wouldn't use it if you're trying to run a profitable business.

Paid hosting is better for professionals and business. But if you want to make websites as a hobby than you can use free hosting also.

If you are planning a free hosting for your business then I think that you need to think again. Free hosting services are generally of inferior quality or may be for a short period of time. This can cause you trouble afterwards. I would recommend you to own a paid plan. You can try the affordable hosting plans of IWIHosting.com. Their hosting prices are surprisingly low and best in quality. For more information log on to: http://www.iwihosting.com

I would stick with HostGator or HostMonster...they're not really that expensive

What do you even mean by this question?

"...good the business?" is obviously a typo but it seems to me that you are asking whether having a business that sells or resells free hosting is a good business to be in.

If that is your question, my opinion is no. It is a slimy business of getting people to sign up and then taking their money every chance you have.

free hosting is FANTASTIC for blog farms. Even if the host vanishes, it's only taken 10 minutes or so to set up a free wordpress blog, so it's actually pretty much cost-effective.

It's usually better to go with notable paid hosting services. In the long run, it's better for your business.

Free ones have very limited capacity. The may offer webpage templates that are free, but they often put their own ads on your site that you cannot remove which could take away from your count. These ads are not always shared with you.

This is the only way for them to make money to maintain their service and keep it free.

Better to pay the $77 for the year. Set it and forget it. You can put as many websites as you want on your account without having to pay extra. Host Gator and Go Daddy are really good ones.

No, it isn't. Especially for a business. Too much of a risk involved. Stick with the reputable hosting companies that actually DO require you to pay :)

I think free hosting can be good. It all depends on who is the one giving it to you. I know one of my friends gave me free hosting and it was just as good as the hosting I have now. It all depends on how well you know the people and what they think.

Yeah that is always true too. When ever you are looking to generate business you always have to invest some money at first. So why not invest your money at the beginning.
