More peoples are using forum for SEO purpose, Is forum links effective for SEO????

 

I know nothing that is helping to improve page rank than forum links through there many ways of getting links but this one is very effective according to what I have seen on the changes I got since I started forum posting.

 

Positively forum links are effective for SEO. Even in your question also you place a link in the word SEO.

According to me Forums are a way for people to discuss topics in public with friends, strangers and experts. With forums it is very important to be genuine, if forum members and moderators feel that you are only trying to build links to your website. They will delete the links or even worse delete your post and all your forum link building efforts will be in vain.

 

forum links are usually effective, it is so in my case when i started my first blog it helped me to get traffic and backlinks
i get to know this becuase google webmaster was showing me these forum links as they are linking to my blog

I think forum posting and backlinking is really good for the site, but I do agree with some of the people that simply making profiles and posting on forums multiple times a day just so that you can get backlinks is a waste of time. If you have that much time, you might as well go post in comments in some high PR blogs. My site has a couple of high PR forum backlinks, but that's not all because I post regularly in those forums I get tons of traffic from those forums. In fact about half of the traffic is coming from those forums because there are a lot of leechers who read my post and visit my site.
