    They claim Flash is indexable now, but practically speaking, you will not be getting dominant rankings in a competitive arena any time soon with a Flash-only site. Even with techniques mentioned above, there are serious flaws with how it's read by search engines. This doesn't mean you can't use Flash, or that you can't have a kick-ass site, it just means you need to use it strategically. Very few sites need to use Flash for 100% of content. Most sites would be fine with Flash used about the same extent as images. For others, just make sure that any content served in Flash, is also served in html, including links and navigation. There are many creative ways to do this - I leave implementation to you. SIFR is a good example of this. There are also some other, more creative methods.
