its not a big issue in these days because google as well as other search engine have started crawling flash website or flash content, but it is advised not to use flash in header
yeah sure dear.. if i have made any site with flash header , and i ll get any difficulty in that , so i really share my experiences with all of you guys.......
I always make sure that I get more contents as possible. Off course your site might look nice with a flash header But, how good is it if you can't drive any traffics to it...?
yeah that matters , if it looks very good and attractive by viewers can attract the site , but its not enough for get traffic on the site , you have to do promotion for that site....
Yes it is still unfriendly, but it will not affect your rankings too much as long as all of your links to internal pages are html or equivalent language rather than image based.
yeah its not effects to the rankings , if your links and internal pages are php or html based .....and after change the design of your web page you have to take the back up of the content...
Hello, Flash content is frequently heavy on images and interactive characteristics, and light on text. The leading search engines are heavily dependent on text to understand the meaning of pages.
Thats wrong, It is surely annoying for Search Engines but it's not a waste because it really attracts the users and enhance their experience for the webpage which make them loyal to the website.
You can say its not a SEO friendly ... its gud in designning part ... , but that is not seo friendly , you have to make design like content related to your domain...
It would be great if you can put your flash header dynamically after page load, through some javascript or something, That will be the smart way also for google bot, and site loading time....
yeah you can say that for put flash header on your site , the loading time is grow up and it take more space in the database...
Even if you use flash in your web page, you can easily optimize your website through link building. One important thing is that "G" bots doesn't read flash. not only G, many other search engines also gives value only to the content. using flash here and there in your website doesn't cause to de-indexing or penalising, but it effects on the page load speed when google bots crawls your webpage.
If you use flash in your site , then it directly take more time to load that web page ... it is not google friendly.....
No, guys, you're wrong. SEO standards are developing for dealing with Flash text and Flash files. As you probably know, Google is always THE FIRST to index different types of new content, like doc files, PDF files and so on. And now Google's also paved amazing inroads to index dynamic content. This IT giant is the first major search engine ever to index Flash - another great step forward in the search engine optimization area. Well-designed Flash content is great for users. Google still may not be good at reading sophisticated flash-stuff, BUT it certainly has made some steps towards it. Adobe's and Google will definitely have the ball at their feet if they continue to develop and improve the SDK tool. That opens new great opportunities for Flash designers interested in SEO or for search engine optimizers interested in Flash!
entire site in Flash will create problem and may be not visible by google.. but only header in Flash will not have any problem..
It used to be that flash was very unfriendly to seo. With the new version of Flash it has got better. You can use XML which can be seo friendly.
