I always make sure that I get more contents as possible.

Off course your site might look nice with a flash header

But, how good is it if you can't drive any traffics to it...?

Yes it is still unfriendly, but it will not affect your rankings too much as long as all of your links to internal pages are html or equivalent language rather than image based.

    Hello,

Flash content is frequently heavy on images and interactive characteristics, and light on text. The leading search engines are heavily dependent on text to understand the meaning of pages.

It would be great if you can put your flash header dynamically after page load, through some javascript or something,

That will be the smart way also for google bot, and site loading time....

Even if you use flash in your web page, you can easily optimize your website through link building. One important thing is that "G" bots doesn't read flash. not only G, many other search engines also gives value only to the content. using flash here and there in your website doesn't cause to de-indexing or penalising, but it effects on the page load speed when google bots crawls your webpage.

    No, guys, you're wrong.
SEO standards are developing for dealing with Flash text and Flash files.

As you probably know, Google is always THE FIRST to index different types of new content, like doc files, PDF files and so on.
And now Google's also paved amazing inroads to index dynamic content.
This IT giant is the first major search engine ever to index Flash - another great step forward in the search engine optimization area.

Well-designed Flash content is great for users. Google still may not be good at reading sophisticated flash-stuff, BUT it certainly has made some steps towards it. Adobe's and Google will definitely have the ball at their feet if they continue to develop and improve the SDK tool. That opens new great opportunities for Flash designers interested in SEO or for search engine optimizers interested in Flash!

It used to be that flash was very unfriendly to seo. With the new version of Flash it has got better. You can use XML which can be seo friendly.
