Yes, i agree, FF is the best browser and its main advantages is free plugins. I don't understand how it is possible to surf without ADblock Plus plugin, which eliminates all ads from pages. Also i use SEO plugin SeoQuake, which helps much and saves alot of time for me.
Only reason I use any other browser other then FF is for design purposes. Love FF and have been a user for years and always will be.
I like firefox, i've used it ever since i found out about it, its safer than IE and its generally faster, only bad thing is that it is a resource hog and a memory leaker
My experience... I've used these browsers: IE, Firefox, Opera, Chroom. Now.. IE sucks, nothing more to say about that. Firefox, is great. BUT needs alot of addons to do the same thing as Opera does out of box AND crashes/freezes time to time and is more resource hogging then a zombie. (browse around a bit, open your task manager and laugh). Also, noscript sucks as it updates weekly and breaks alot of stuff easily...needed to DISABLE it yesterday cause suddenly firefox was freezing the whole time. Now..Opera, still the best browser in my oppinion but lacks some stuff which firefox has..so that's why i'm currently still using firefox. Chroom, Privacy...all I have to say ^^ that's why I don't use it. So in general, i believe firefox isn't the best, yet i'm still using it (as i'm a webdeveloper and opera lacks some stuff/addons which firefox has). it's a hard world firefox fanboys..get over it ^^
Opera is my favourite. Ever since version 9.5, i ditched Firefox. I do still enjoy using Firefox every now and again, but that is only if i am away from my home computer. No issues with Firefox, i just prefer the clean layout of Opera. Yes - the big black bar at the top may look daunting at first, but you love it eventually.
Definitely the best. I love it. I hate using IE but I still have to do it sometimes. Nice and helpful plugins for webmasters, web design and web development.
So, iow, it can work the same as Opera if you want but you can leave those features off if you wish. It's called choice and you don't have to use what's given to you. Says who? On the 10 systems I maintain, plus family/friends, this is never an issue. Fix your system. You don't understand how operating systems and applications work, do you. Talk to the outside party that wrote that extension and quick blaming Firefox which had nothing to do with it. So it's not the best browser? So you are saying Chrome is stealing personal, identifiable data about you? What data and how? You are wrong. Yes. You contradicted yourself earlier so no need to do it again. Opera is a great browser. So is FF.
