Ofcourse, its a great browser. Totally satisfied with it. The numerous addons / extensions available increase the capability of the browser. Its like we had ffv.2 just yesterday, and now we have ffv.3 which is constantly looked after and updated..love it xD
generically Firefox is the Best, Google Chrome is still fairly buggy and sits more on the side of IE in terms of the way it has been built and suffers with a lot of CSS and PNG image issues that IE cannot usually cope with. Firefox always wins over the rest.
Saw someone else quote this and it made me think of so many more things. I certainly hope you don't have a MySpace account!
fire fox rules its the best for browsing internet explorers to buggy and takes to long to load where as fire fox loads in less then a second plus all the fetures of firefox are awesome
Well Firefox is certainly one of the best browsers there is right now, very secure and not to mention the add-ons, very cool. However with the new Google Chrome that may change, first chrome consumes less RAM and from what I've seen they're generating some coll add-ons for it. We just have to wait.
I have been having much more problems with Firefox as of late. I have just downloaded Chrome and so far not one freeze up and it is super fast. I will still use FF but I think Chrome will remain my favorite.
Though firefox is not the best but I find it better than the rest. I've tried Opera and i like the interface but it seems it has some kind of rendering problem. I still have to get acquainted with Chrome and for a while I still have to stick with FireFox.
I find all the browsers to be very good at what they do. My only gripe with IE is that it will be 11 years behind web standards in January and the most insecure browser. So it holds back the web. And now, the javascript engines for Chrome, Firefox and even Opera are incredibly fast. Plus, they support many CSS3 properties, SVG, XHTML, etc.
The only thing I dislike about FireFox is that is is ram heavy. But Other then that I dont use any other browser FireFox is a paradise compared to any other browser.
I will say that type such question also is a waste of time . Everyone knows man that Firefox rocks . No one can compete them in browser category .
1. Unlike stupid IE, firefox renders perfectly. 2. Add-ons especially firebug and google themes. The disadvantage is it is heavy...
Just so you all know, I'm pretty sure Chrome can be a RAM hog too. Even worse than Firefox, actually, if you have a lot of tabs open that is. Chrome creates a separate process for each tab which, when you combine the RAM usage for each Chrome process you see in your Task Manager, you can see adds up to a pretty big amount still..
