Just stay away from spam links and build as fast as you wish.. I have not seen that building to many links will harm your site.
as somebody said above already it depends on the age of your site and where the link comes from sometimes you just get google sandboxed for a short time then you come back in higher ranking
Just develop your link naturaly, make a huge link in short time looks like your website is autobacklink order
So is there anybody who would like to tell us the specific number of the links you will add per day? Thanks .... I guess the number could be my good guidelines!
If your niche is very competitive by all means build more links, but avoid actively building more than 1,500 links. That's what I want to say too.
There is a school of thought that it doesn't matter. After all, if it did, your competitor could drop you in the brown stuff by submitting you to 3000 directories...
That's a very good point I also think that this is the case. If you want to drop someone from the index, just spam their link
Build only thematic links on relevant pages with very low Outbound Link. That matters most. Building lot of links in a short time is not a good way for particular websites.
No, if your site is aged, because everyone should use this method against his competitors. If it is new be careful.
He cannot drop you but have you tried such "submitting"? You can't move your site to top after that. Spam prevents from further promoting for some time.
i choose to submit 20 links on other forums per day. what about this speed of link building ? and my site is more then 6 month old. and regularly updating have daily 100 pages added in it.
Like the majority of people here said, take your time make it look natural and go for the quality backlinks. Don't waste your time getting your link in any old place. Go for targeted only
If you do so google will easily know that you have generated links to your site intentionally or those links are not genuine and not natural. This will directly penalize your website. So don't do this just go slow and steady.
