    I think we don't need such traffic at all.

    This traffic will only eat up our monthly bandwidth and this traffic will not bring any good. Fake or automated traffic is 100% useless.

    You can gain Alexa rank, which in turn can result in more money for you from advertisers as well as advertising programs like Text-Link-Ads and ReviewMe. I wouldn't recommend it either, but there is advantages to bot traffic.

    I wouldn't count those hits out as possible conversions. Hell, you might change someones mind or interests at that point they are directed to another thing. The chances?? Slim but still there

    Truthfully, this kind of traffic is worthless. Rarely, you may find that you will get a few customers this way, but it would be on rare occasion.
