You yourself said that you are promoting your product on Facebook means it acts as a media which could bring you results if you rightly message your target audience otherwise it is waste of time anyways it is a good to promote on Fb
I haven't thought of using quancast before as a guide on the messages that should be putting out there but that actually makes a lot of sense. Is there a good way to approach people and groups on facebook who haven't interacted with you before to ensure that A) you're not irritating them B) they will be likely to come to your site? Also, how useful are purchased fans?
Promoting your stuff on facebook allows you to not only share your business information with other business owners, but it will also allows you to develop close relationships with those that share an interest that is similar to yours. Essentially, this means that you could not only learn valuable business information, but you could also walk away with a new business partner, friend or even make a sell for your product or service.
Facebook is very much effective your you can follow the steps - 1. Create a FB page 2. On your site, put FB logo with some title like LIKE/JOIN us on FB 3. Encourage people to LIKE your FB page so you can have better traffic via regular updates
The all social media site are good for promotion, Obviously facebook and twitter is the first choice.. and digg also better one
There are currently more than over 500 million people just on Facebook alone so when you consider the number of people you can reach there, your networking chances are significantly increased. So i think fb is a good media to promote your business.
I think someone said it early on in the thread though... facebook is a bit like TV if you don't do your targeting right it could be a bit of wasted effort.
Facebook can be a really good platform for promoting your products if used properly. By providing beneficial offers you can attract people. Don't let users land on your wall, make a page showcasing your products and other information as your landing page. You can also give links of other networking sites where u r present.
Do you use a Fan Page? It's gotta be a Fan Page, not a Personal Profile. People go on social media to socialize, not to be sold to. So socialize with them, don't sell. Try and redirect any traffic for social sites back to your main site or blog and sell to them there.
Definitely, if you do it right that is. Build your network first with value, and work in your message as you grow.
If you are promoting a website, blog or personal portfolio. I would say Facebook is a brilliant marketing tool. The key is to have catchy branding and a Fan page which captivates your product in its entirety. Obviously it also depends on how and what you are promoting. You can't exactly promote viagra on Facebook and expect people to jump on board and be all excited.
If you build a business page and get people to like the page then you won't have to worry about paying for advertising because you would have built a list of possible customers.
