    Hello dear
I would like to give my views about the facebook roll in seo Facebook helps in getting traffic on our site only if a visitor goes to our site and stays for a few secs though our posts on the page then only it will give a positive result otherwise it may result into spam if we only getting likes rather then visits count.

Of course! why not! Social media and social networking sites like facebook, twitter, myspace, tagged, hi5 etc all are now a helpful source of SEO. In facebook make a page and increase your fans to more than 100,000. You can get automatically ranked to search engines.

Hi nehasoft, would you explain with more details your point of view, please? I'm interested in marketing because the launch of my site $earch is coming soon, but have never met such info as you mentioned. Do you mean that when someone liked my company page in FB, the result will be positive only if he/she also visit the main website for several seconds? And if not this will influence my ranking badly. If you have reliable source would you share more info with us? If my suggestion is right the completion of my aim will be impossible. :(

Yes, Facebook helps in generating traffic for your site. It is one very good source actually, your customers or prospects can interact with you, ask about your promotions at the same time you can update them with your new offers and follow up prospects as well if they have not been responsive to you for quite a while. :)

Google announced a few months ago that they are finally taking your social media presence into consideration when ranking your site. After I heard this, I began testing it out and very quickly, I noticed that as I earned more "Likes" for my pages, they quickly increased in rankings and so did my traffic. I have done this 10+ times now and every single time it works very, very fast - literally within 1-2 days, every single site/page that had more Likes increased on them were raised in rankings and traffic.

It does depend whether the links you post are public posts or not.
Also, realise that advertisments are temporary (unless you advertise permanently :))
