is Facebook fan page likes worth ?

currently i run travel based web site for vacation rental properties , i have created Facebook profile for social media marketing / promotion . have also created Fan page for the same . currently have 88 likes , i would like to know is Facebook page likes really worthy or not ? can we get popularity , traffic from it ?

i have one idea everyone share their fb pages here and get likes from someone and that person person get likes from us .So, its a give and take idea by this we can get more likes with popularity in terms of business , social media networking .

It's not worth with 88 likes but the moment you add a few more zeros to the 88 it will be a huge asset. Just think of the huge number of fans who can be reached by a simple and fast update.

 

Facebook likes are definitely worth the time invested if done correctly. It is not the number of likes you have but the loyal fan base that you develop. When someone likes your page most times your post shows up on their profile. Who knows? Maybe that one person has 3,000 friends

Hey folks thanks for your response on this thread , rite now i have 93 likes on my Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/Vacationcluster1 . So , this much likes will not be helpful for getting popularity .
