Facebook is transforming, especially where marketing is concerned. I do think the days of instant viral success are drawing to a close for most people, but it can still be useful to integrate into a cohesive marketing campaign which includes other tactics.
well....not now, only when there will be another substitute...sm really distinctive one... for example, my fellows shared a link recently, they say there's sm promising project is launching - myimpression.me, at least we need to see wht are they goin to do....the design looks really amazing.
Maybe Facebook will close their business or start to respect users privacy on the 5th Nov. 2011, because of Anonymous. Some members are planning to attack Facebook. I personally think, that they will attack them with DDoS attacks, the site will be offline for only few hours. lulzSec does not support that attack..
I think your idea is not correct at all. Because Facebook already successfully created a strong social network that will never be end. If you think Google+ plus will beat the Facebook and it will the major reason for dying of Facebook it will be another wrong idea. I think both will work from their own position for long time but never be able to beat each other.
It is still popular. 5 years and it will be fading away. It feels a little old now compared to Google+. I think an overhaul of the design is needed soon for it to survive.
i don't think facebook will go down easy as in our country still many people are just following facebook don't know much about google+ etc
I don't think facebook is dying at all! It is a great tool for advertising your business and in my opinion, it is growing b/c it has alot of features.
It's changing more than it is dying. When it started, it was the "cool" place for college kids to hang out. Now, everyone is on there, including all those peoples parents, teachers and bosses, so it's no longer the cool online frat party that it once was. Now there are more people on there than ever before... but the community itself has evolved a ton since its inception.
Five years is a long time for Marks to develop FB with a newly look with a lot of attractive features. So I think your guess would not work this time, dude.
I doubt if it will die so soon. however, it has to struggle to survive when Google is trying to expand its market in all directions of the web ashish patel
Facebook never dies unless Anonymous Hack or site owner close it as many businesses running through facebook and i even dont like Google+
I honestly don't see Facebook closing any time soon. Zuckerburger is too smart not to change with the times. As to the privacy issues, Google is no better in that regard.
