For me, Ezinearticles is good for bringing extra traffic but Isnare generates more backlinks for me. Either way around, article marketing is great for everybody.
so its not really worth spending extra time doing a rewrite for goarticles when you can just write a brand new article during that time ?
I really wonder if writing articles for SEO is worth all the effort! We have tried it with many articles for 2 websites now in google.com and also some for google.nl, google.de and google.co.uk. We have not seen any major changes at all, unlike using other resources such as directories (not the typical 1000 links on 1 page directories but SEO-powered directories) and building quality content on your own website. Article directories are interesting if the investment of time or money is very low (like using contentboss.com), but if you are gonna right quality content, just only post it on your own website and promote it with social media sites (digg, mixx, twitter, linkedin, etc.) and e-mail marketing.
most people commonly accept that e-zine articles is the best article directory. Having built a number of sites I can tell you from looking at the traffic statistics, e-zine articles generates a good percentage of traffic whereas other article directories in my experience only really serve two form another back linkwith the traffic generated from them being only minimal.
I find that ezra gets me the most traffic initially for articles posted, but in the long-term I have some other favourite directories that feed human traffic to my sites from articles I posted years ago. You asked for who we thought are the best, so here is my list: www.ezinarticles.com www.articlealley.com www.articlesbase.com www.articlecube.com www.goarticles.com www.a1articles.com www.articlecity.com www.ideamarketers.com www.articledashboard.com www.easyarticles.com www.articlesnatch.com www.free-article-directory.com www.selfgrowth.com re: PageRank... the pagerank of the Directory site eg: Squidoo is PR7 actually creates that level PR one way link to your site in the view of the search engines. Then you also get the extra bonus of achieving a PR for your article itself over time if you get enough visitors etc. And make sure you bookmark, and Social Bookmark your article pages as well. You can also go and create a Squidoo with your article to create a PR 7 link to your site and encourage readers to click the links to your site as well.
No doubt, Ezine is best for Article syndication. Along with this you can also try these sites having good PR and can pass value to your site link . http://www.goarticles.com/ http://searchwarp.com/ http://www.ideamarketers.com/ http://www.articledashboard.com/ http://www.articlesbase.com/
Ezine probably the most popular article submission site, but it's not the best (at least for me) article site
Ezine articles does pass off pagerank to some of its articles but no one really knows which articles are passed pagerank and age has very little to do with it. Im thinking more on the lines of teh search engine friendliness of the articles that gives some of them pagerank. You really have to do alot of research to make articles on ezinearticles.com that google will give love to. Its takes a good hour to do your keyword research and information research on the article subject itself and then you need to put it all together to make sure it passes copyscape. I will be starting a service this week on dp doing just that. Just need to get my portfolio on ezine to over 100
I suppose it depends how fast you can a. think and b. type. I can generate a 'new' version of your article good enough to submit to goarticles etc in about 5 seconds.
Thats good for an extra link but i find that mostly ezine articles get ranking love from google so it actually boosts your site up in a few ways.
