I heard from somewhere that EzineArticles has now changed all the dofollow links in its user submitted articles to nofollow. Is it right ? I have already submitted an article for review there. I think I should revert it back, as It will be of no use now for me to submit my article there.
No, they were considering it but decided not to after authors gave their input. Of course, they could change their minds at a later stage ... keep and eye on their blog to stay up to date with what's happening there: blog.ezinearticles.com
EzineArticles decided not to add nofollow attribute on their links - http://blog.ezinearticles.com/2011/02/search-engine-algorithm-changes.html
It was a knee-jerk reaction to the huge drop in traffic that they received when Google did the Panda update. They were going to do it, but it was way down their list of things they were going to implement. After the author's made their comments on the topic, which was a pretty obvious "no, don't do it" they backtracked on that point. Don't be suprised though if they still go through with it.
Go and check out the Ezine Articles blog. They are targeting the low quality content as no follow; the good stuff is still the same as it ever was.
