I personally prefer Techcrunch and GigaOm because they seem to be well written, well-researched posts. However, most posts on Engadget seem to be 4 or 5 lines. My feeling is that Engadget goes for quantity (of posts) over quality.
i prefer techcrunch.com because i can post a comment right away without asking me to register in its site.
I agree with you. Engadget seem like 4 yr old kid writing 10 lines each 30 minutes. Most of the stuff are either related to rumours or some creepy stuff happening in IT. They lost their credibility over time. I prefer techcrunch and of course Gigaom, since Om Malik is my personal friend. Being in the same VOIP industry and blogging.
