Is Eminem the king of rap?

    Title says it, and i do believe he is the king of rap :D

    Some of his songs are great like without me, lose yourself, sing for the moment, etc etc...

    PS: Don't say he cant be the king of rap without a reason and if you don't listen to him...

    lol NO. He is a good rapper but to say he is the king is going to far. None of these new rappers can be the 'king' they are not near as talented as all the old school rappers like makeville. Many of them have stated their inspiration came from him.

    Eminem would come in the top 10 and if I have to be generous in the top 5 rappers. His old raps were great, the recent ones I feel suck.

    I like Big L's lyrics and even for that matter Tupac.

    the king of white rap maybe yes. But there are tons of rappers and bands that are way better than him... public enemy, wu tang, tupac, ice cube, krs one, jay z, mobb deep, etc...

    I like his rasp but there are other rappers that i like too....
    so
    I would say he is not the best in my eyes (atleast) but he is always on my playlist.
