Of course it works until you have the legit, opt-in email lists. If some one is really interested in your updates means they will be subscribing to your email updates by opting-in their email id. So, obviously it works with the subscribers (opt-in contacts) but make sure to create a identifying, attractive, catchy subject line.
i think one important thing is email title. If you can write a good title, the guests will open to read ... Everyday, everyone receive a lot ads email ... we just look and delete ... So, if you want to use email marketing. Remember: " email title"
Its true that email marketing still works but thing is people spam with it and most people no longer mind emails when sent to them.
The key being successful with email marketing is to build a highly targeted list and market products/services that they will be interested in. For example, if you've got a site focusing on weight loss, you can get people to opt-in to your list by offering them a free ebook or something. If you build a strong rapport with a decent sized list (by providing high quality content and NOT spamming them), you can promote your own weight loss product or someone else's as an affiliate. On the other hand, if you use email scrapers or other strategies to obtain email addresses to randomly promote products/services, you won't get very far. I challenge you to find someone who enjoys getting spam emails.
Yes this still works as long as you provide value to your list they will trust you. Once they trust you it would be much esier to make money. Most people buy from people they trust..
It is definitely getting harder these days due to the amount of spam that is sent, but if you have good content on your website then readers will open your emails to hear what you have to say.
Hi Adom,Email marketing is still one of the best ways to promote yourself or your products. Not to worry about spamming, as long as your subscribers opt-in willing on your website. It is called "Permission Marketing." Remember, your subscribers only opt-in when they see value in the content you are offering. They are giving you the rights to send them emails about valued content. One important point to note is that, in order for your subscribers to "love" you and be loyal. You must give top-notch valued information and not some spammy content copied and pasted from other websites. The bottom point for email marketing to work is by gaining your subscribers' trust and be friends with them.Hope it helps.
