email marketing is very powerful you can sell any product with this method . you use squeez page and build a decent list and promote it with email marketing . you see that have made many sales in next day

email marketing is a good method for marketing if all your email addresses have been verified as valid. Many companies offer you email bulk addresses but they are spam. Make sure you go to a reputable company so your email marketing campaign will not be spammed. This will also ensure you get the right bang for your buck.

 

It depends on the purpose if you do business well it is good since it entice new customers or convincing current customers to purchase something immediately

 

Well a real internet makreter would never buy a list because most of them are junk, you're better to work on building your own super targeted list of double opt-in's.

Email Marketing still does work but just not the old days. You can't just blast your list always asking them to buy. You must be more responsible and in addition give your list what they are requiring, whether that is information on a certain topic or freebies that may be of value to them. Let them also get to know more about you and then they will trust you more as time goes on. The ultimate goal is to keep them on your list.

 

It is very powerful but the key is to get targeted visitors..offer something for free in exchange for their name and e-mail.. develope a relationship with your list.. ect..

 

E-mail marketing is goldmine if you have a list, and are marketing to that list - that's targeted e-mail marketing, and you have the consent of those being marketed to to receive your mail.

Of course, then there is spam as well, which a lot of people associate with e-mail marketing. Ask yourself, have you ever clicked on any offer in a spam e-mail? Do you even open them up? Someone must, or they would stop doing it.

 

I guess I was under the assumption that email marketing was not suggested anymore. I had heard that most people just viewed it as spam and didn't pay much attention to it. What type of content is included in the marketing? Is it a personal email to the individual person?

It seems all the newsletters I'm trying to write are considered spammy. I'm currently using Emailserving building a list. I already have 17 opt-ins in under a day, which I'm very happy about, but I can't send a single email without it going to spam. :\

 

It maybe the company, I'd personally go with one of the industry pros like aweber. But well done 17 opt-ins is awesome congrats man!

 

Yup, the site is getting over 300 uniques a day so traffic isn't a problem. I'm not necessarily ready to put down cash, and Aweber doesn't take PayPal which put me down a bit. I'm still 16, so I came into this game young, but I still don't have a CC. I'd have to PROVE to my parents I'd be able to make the money back, so I'm trying some free alternatives just to see if I can make any money from the list.

I've been using email marketing since I started and until now, its still powerful. It can be very useful when launching something, you can start hyping up your product there. Just remember not to spam.
