Hello! i want to be sure if email marketing/advertising is ok with google adsense TOS . my friend wants to send my website's url to all of his friends email list .. so this way my website will get popular to all of them ... maybe some people consider this as a spamming method.. what about google ? note : the message will contain only my website url and there is no any ads in the message.
Depending on how many emails you send out. It could be considered spam by Google. And as I recall (though I'm no expert by any means) emails won't generate proper referral URL, and I've heard of a lot of people getting in trouble for untraceable referrals. Be careful.
To tell you in one sentence "don’t do it". Email marketing is very risky and even with opt in list it still can be considered spam. Even some of the affiliate programs ban you with email marketing so doing it with adsense is out of question.

Another thing you may think about, is not telling people you know about your website. Sometimes friends or family think they are helping you by clicking on your ads. Or, if one of your friends becomes your enemy down the line, they may sabatoge your adsense account by constantly clicking.
if you are going to do some email marketing you can setup a few doorway sites and send the visitors there to see a presentation of your site.... depending on the way an email is opened it either generates the referal to be the particular webmail address or no referal if it's opened through email software just make sure you do not send emails to people that do not expect them
