So if a certain prince offers you half a billion and and his gmail handle is real_prince_123 you're going to refuse the offer??
If a cold email sender does not even bother to get a "business" domain name email for his or her business, I am not going to spend money with that entity. It is an easy way to quickly weed out the strangers I am unlikely to engage with.
It seems to me that targeting a demographic of people over 100 years old would be a dead end since the VAST majority will NEVER be REPEAT customers. In fact, I doubt that that demographic is even a viable demographic to target even for first time buyers.
I sign up for newsletters with the best of intentions and invariably they get put into the tldr pile. An interesting subject line is wasted if the email is in the middle of a block of emails I don't have the will to read:
It is a challenge when you are in the sales business. I do look at every email (even in my spam folder) because of FOMO an email from a client or prospect.
It is not dying, yet. It is working very well. More so, cold email marketing is working. On one hand, I do agree with one of the above posters that sending cold emails from Gmail addresses can be tacky. However, I worked for a company that wanted to be anonymous while discussing details (guest posting) and only revealed the brand once the deal has been agreed upon. It is a bit like Haro where you can see questions asked from anonymous sources. ----------- I recommend reading about affiliate marketing
I feel like email market is dying or atleast with new generations as they do not trust alot of stuff that get sent to you because you have been trained at a young age to watch out for scamms so people are atleast more sceptical to things that are sent to you via email. New generations also dont look at their emails if they are in need of something, they most likely just google it and pick whatever comes up first.
Of course, it is, in fact, I would say that it's even growing every year, but to be successful in this field it's necessary to experiment with different methods and approaches, to find quality leads, write good, personalized messages, to send them over in right time, to come up with a way to attract users, to find adequate software for sending emails, and so on.

Yes, Email marketing can be a highly efficient way to engage with clients when done correctly, and it should be a part of practically any small business marketing strategy.
I don't really think so. I believe it's just a reload of email marketing. Of course, without a doubt, many other types of marketing have already excelled over the email marketing and it has passed on the second plan, but anyway - if you believe in something that you do and it's connected with email marketing - then believe in it until your days over or until you stop doing marketing activity at all. Email marketing is the most difficult way of promoting the services as it requires bunch of work which is connected with communication.
