Have you tried to cashout Egold recently? Fees for Egold outexchange are around 40%! If you like processor without chargebacks, move to Liberty Reserve.
out exchange fees arnt THAT high (40% yeah right) but they are pretty high now sometimes you can still sell it for more than its worth through paypal, but that holds it risks what would be my best option for getting my money out of egold? buy a egold card then withdraw from an atm? Bite the bullet and pay 5 - 10% fees?
Hi there e-gold was good now the better option is Liberty Reserve[/URL]. true Off shore legal registered to do such business. Egold to exchange right now not to recommend, question are how it will be in the future as plenty of exchangers are avoid to deal with e-gold.
Actually there's a risk keeping money in egold since the value can be up or down depending on the global gold price. Of course those who invest last year should be handsomely reward today since gold price has already jumped like almost 20%. But who knows when the price will retrace back. Even then what we can see is that the US gov is also after all the exchangers and since then, in and out exchanges have been very difficult.
at first: you can´t compare e-gold or liberty reserve to Moneybookers or PP: eg and lr are ecurrencies, mb and pp are payment processors. the only thing in which they are similar it´s: you can pay and be paid with them but that´s it. and to the question: yes, e-gold is almost dead i think. no outexchanges accepted anywhere because omnipay isn´t working (if they will ever again work outexchanges will be no problem again)
Which exchanger? LondonGoldExchange.com - 30% me-gold.com - 55% cambist.net - 45% asianagold.com - 40% And many reliable exchangers stopped dealing with Egold...
You guys are not serious right..any serious invester or a businessman worth his salt would never consider even putting a single penny on e-gold/alertpay/paypal/nugold/megold/scamgold..whatever they say E-gold is based on some offshore tax haven country and paypal, does not even have an insurance cover on your money let alone interest. Worst is e-gold..over the years, 1000's of accounts have being hacked and there is no robust security code, hell in my country india which is third world at best on banking has three layers of security ..you need your log in pasword...you need your transaction passoword and you need you grid based 32 degit random number input to get anything out of your bank..and all is done in less than 5 seconds. why can't e-gold come with a simple solution as this
They are not going to die. They have survived through major threats of being shut down. I am sure they are going to be fine, and there ll be yet another demand for egold soon. Meanwhile, paypal has always secured a place for itself. I am not sure about e-bullion as well, I consider it being similar to e-gold, so if e-gold gets shut, so will e-bullion..... VCCSELLER
I wouldn't say e-gold is dead but its being used less and less. If you are trying to get your e-gold out, that is simple if you are using alertpay. 24.5% fee to get the e-gold money into your alertpay account. I use paypal, alertpay, moneybookers, e-gold, and liberty reserve. I don't have a favorite as long as im getting paid, I don't care.
Why is the government trying to shut them down and has this reached a high level at this point of government action? It is confusing but very unfortunate...
E-Gold is ok, you can easily see your answer in e-gold FAQ pages. there are a lot of perfect answers about your question !!!
Because they say it´s used to pay anonymous for child porn etc. and because of it´s anonymity mostly used by "criminals" you can read here for example http://redtape.msnbc.com/2007/05/feds_accuse_ego.html
