Is Edu links beneficial ?

I read on the Internet about Edu links, which are beneficial to boost the page rank of the website. I have done lots of searching about it but not found satisfactory results. I got most of the college, university website which is not dealing in link building...

I want to know that Edu links are beneficial for the website and How? Where I can get edu links, which deal in link building...

edu sites are best for link submitting.

 

There is more value in edu backlinks than in other type of backlinks but that doesn't mean you should focus only on such backlinks, you should have diverse types of backlinks to rank well.

 

.edu links definitely have great value but can be hard to attain most of the time. IF anybody has an easy way of getting .edu links I'd love to know lol.

It’s debatable about value of edu links. Its all about "trust rank" which is theoretical.
Normally Google assumes that edu links have more this "trust" and that's why edu links usually carry more power and trust to your site.
But as I said "trust rank" is only a theory and this might mean that some of edu links in Google eyes might have a high trust rank and some of them not.
So be careful when buying edu links, because you might spend lot of money and end up with the links which are not more valuable than normal cheap links.
