Today I read the news on foxnews.com and i saw there view source. and its shows something different types of meta tag. see snapshot. And I searched about this code and i am geting its dublin core meta tag. Can any DP member knows about this code ? and Is this benefits for SERP ? Share you thoughts
The Dublic core tags is a meta tag schema designed in early 1995 as a way of standardising the web's meta tag content. None of the major search engines use these or even indexes them so they are of no use. Use image alt tags, title tags, meta description & meta title tags and that's about the best you can do with meta data.
