Drupal is opensource. You can optimize it as far as your skills reach. Or let someone do it.

    1) Drupal has a module called Nodewords which allows for META data editing. Use it, put real live descriptions/tags on every page: http://drupal.org/project/nodewords

    2) Make sure you have the friendly URLs checked and Automatic Node Titles installed (http://drupal.org/project/auto_nodetitle). This keeps your nodes (pages) with URLs such as "content/small-business-websites" and not "?q=node/32"

    3) I think most would agree with me in saying that for SEO, "content is king." That being said, Drupal does make it quite easy to continuously create and post content. Make sure its valuable and unique and I think you'll be AOK.

    Good luck!

Proper use of Taxonomy can also help with your SEO.. If you allow comments on pages, enabling the 'recent comment' block is a great way to get every-changing site-wide links with good anchor-text..

I suggest you to put a "related ads" block on each ad, it can be done with views
