Is dropping Sehwag for the Asia cup justified?

Today, the Indian cricket team for the Asia cup has been announced. Sehwag has been 'rested' but other under performing players like raina and jadeja have been retained and also Ajinkya Rahane has not been picked. Is it correct?

According to BCCI, yes. According to me, no. Sehwag scored double century just before landing in Australia and he was axed in some of the matches due to 'God Knows why' rotation policy of Shree M.S. Dhoni. I can't understand Dhoni's tactics, you keep jadeda in as a proper batsman and keep Tiwary and Sharma out. Jadeja is not performing and he is in team and Rohit Sharma, who had an excellent series with West Indies, you keep him out just because he failed in a couple of matches. You keep Raina in despite his poor form continuing from England. Why Ravindra Jadeja is still in team and Sehwag out. If compared in whole series Sehwag bowled better than Jadeja and batted better than Jadeja and you keep Jadeja in team because he is 'only allrounder'. Yes, he is only allrounder who neither scores runs not take wickets. This is ridiculous stuff, its better to give rest to Indian selection panel than giving rest to Sehwag.

They are out of their mind now... And thats why India lost several matches in Australia. BCCI is full of crap selectors now.

I agree with you Digital_Shubhi, Selection panel of Indian Cricket people is full of people with no cricketing brains and they are excellent politicians. Instead of resting Sehwag, they should rest themselves and let people with good cricketing brains select the team and Indian team will play much much better, be it India, Australia or England..

I think it is not a good decision because most of player play very bad in Australia but only Sehwag punished it is not right.

Most of the player not played in ground. But sehwag played politics and make cricis inside team, so he get punished. - ITS A RIGHT DECISION
