I’ve been troubleshooting after my pages recently dropped out of Google’s SERPs and have a question. Is it possible that DigitalPoint Keyword Tracker created some conflict? In the section “Quality guidelines - basic principles†of the guidelines: http://www.google.com/support/webmasters/bin/answer.py?answer=35769 The following is posted: “Don't use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our Terms of Service. Google does not recommend the use of products …that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google†The pages came back after I turned the tracker off, installed sitemaps, and fixed some broken links but am not sure what fixed the problem. Just want to make sure the Tracker is Google-safe. Thanks for your time
Its Google friendly because it asks for you Google API Key. And you can only track your keywords in Google if you'll put you api key.
