    Is it just me or does DP have less activity?
    It really seems to be getting dead around here. Maybe it's because I have been on SP alot, they seem to have alot more posting going on there, but it seems unusually slow here the past few weeks...

    Each they there is more than 20 pages of new messages.
    I see much more activity here then on SP.

    Digital Point is very competent website and it has great future. :)
    Sitepoint must have to change few things to remain ahead of DP otherwise digital point will crush it very soon :)

    Activity on digital point is very fast and every time i hit new posts i get new page of new posts :)

    One exception quality of digital point is that very very few threads go un-replied.

    I dunno, it just seems to be getting slower. Slower was the word I should have used, obviously it's not "dead" here lol.

    there aint as many post simply because not every needs to post 20 times asking the same questions. DP member are well known to use the search button for answers ;)

    All seems pretty normal to me. Day to day post count seems to be consistently going up...

    As far as slow compared to SP... DP has 21504 posts in the last week and SP has 18003 posts in the same time period.

    These days I am seeing more threads started in GC. Most of those threads are pretty useless in my openion. Something has to be done I guess!!

    Reputation changes to GC back in 2005 had no impact.

    Just some days or certain hours Dp may not seem so active. Besides what topic areas also depend on your perception of slow.

    As far as DP and SP. There is no comparison. The quality and attitude of the users at DP are higher in standard. SP is great on a few things but by no means can be compared to DP.

    Big boards says dp has like 6000 more posts a week then namepros, wouldnt of thought that though.
