I think this is the key issue -- the "low wage economy" argument applies to other countries as well, most of which are not as well represented on DP. Yes, we English ripped off the Indian Empire for several 100 years. But we arguably made up for it by (a) teaching them English and (b) letting the Americans become independent so they could become an economic superpower in need of some cheap offshore labour
I think that Indian people are quite intelligent. Are they more intelligent than other races, no. Not one race is smarter than another, it all depends on the person not the race. Here is one thing I know for sure. I am tired of Indian telemarketers calling me up and telling me their name is steve, chris or some other name and then try to sell me something because just by the sounds of their voice you know they are not American and have made up the name. Do not start your selling by telling a lie!

Why do you guys love to criticize India whenever you can? It is NOT and Indian forum or a French forum or anything of that sort. People come here and learn something. Yes, some of the 'indians' here may have hampered the image of India by selling low graded articles at cheap prices... But it is YOU who have bought them at dirt cheap prices. What do you expect then? A pot of gold for 2$ per 500 word articles... The forum is digitalpoint forum... I hope the OP can read it from the address bar. No Offense but these are actually international companies who outsource work to INDIA and they actually want the people to act american and make up american names .. Basically the lies are part of the real company.. its just the persons job to do as the company says
see carefully on map that there are also some other countries which have more than India, so it will be wrong to say that it look like an Indian forum
Very true. Also, several Indians have Western real names. So not every Chris or Steve is a pseudo name. Considering the population of India, 1 out of every 6 people in this world is an Indian. I guess the ratio in DP would be very similar
It's not just DP. India is a developing country, they're getting their hands in everything from the Internet to fast food.
There's a lot of Indians here but that doesn't mean that we're an Indian forum. Most users don't really have a clue what they're doing, but there's always a certain few that are just intelligent. In other words, there's a lot of different people here from around the world. Yugo,

Well i have read each and every post that most of members said that indian peoples are working at cheap rate,,and yeah they are doing but that's not the main point because everyone is independent in their business so they are also independent to decide the rate for perticular work, so please don't try to blame on such matter. If you are not agreed on such question then give some other reason.
