Is DP big enough to hold a successful Dime Sale?

    Hi,

I'm new to DigitalPoint, so apologies if this question has been asked before.

I have 2 self written products, which I would like to sell (when I'm ready and have the required post count)

I think the reports (approx 30 pages each, on the general topic of internet marketing but I won't reveal the exact topic ;)) should be valued at $17 each.

My question is, am I better offering them each for $17, and hope that enough people buy them to build up a following, or is there any value trying to create a buzz by offering them for a low initial price, but introduce a time/sales based incentive/urgency factor?

Being new, is the DP community large enough to produce a profit from a dime sale promotion, or too worldly wise to get drawn in?

    Any advice would be welcomed!

    Thanks,
    Steve

if you know how to make an effective marketing copy for your sale to generate some hype and your product is worth something then you should do pretty good with a dime sale for it

    Thanks for the reply, minnseoelite!

I think I can produce the copy, so hopefully there are enough eyeballs on here to read it and take action.

It looks like it to me!

    Thanks,
    Steve
