How long has this site been online? Anyone know? Vbulletin 3.6.8 is only about 1 1/2 years old (if that) I dont think that it is being neglected because it isnt at the LATESTvBulletin version. There are some other things I would do though. I'm sure they are making enough money in advertising to move to a faster server or have the database checked for bugs that would slow it down.

I too reported about it in a thread. This is really irritating but I saw that many people are trading here and its a good place to sell or buy anything.

EDIT: I dont know why DP admin is not updating or managing this forum as it is an good source of revenue from Adsense and other stuff. For example if he charges 5$ per thread in BST then he could earn a big revenue + BST forum then will be neat and clean. As now in ever few minute a new thread is posted selling an eBook.

    Hey Deep chop,

I've seen the same results with other big boards where they charge a set fee to post, and have stricter posting guidelines where the same thing happens. So, I don't think that matters. People will continue to post their offers as often. ;)

I do agree with you that Shane stands to make more revenue from the forum if he would charge a fee though. This might off-set the server cost.

also a good place to get scammed :D

I think if they charged a fee, many people would leave. It's probably why DP is so big, but CHARGING does kill out a lot of scammers.

Yes DP should be a closed forum. The trouble with revenue sharing sites is that people abuse the system. They will not contribute to the forum. Another thing is that selling signatures should not be allowed. People make posts just to sell their signature.

DP could charge for the BST forum.

Banning the selling of signature links would be difficult to police.

DP is still a great place to be.

    Thanks Brian

If you have a look. There is only around 70,000 active members.

I don't think the court would want DP to make anymore money while this case is still on.

Many say about DP, but i personally think for the better of many young business minds DP is must... DP wont die and as a member of DP i (we ) wont allow.. I have just started my business down here. I am very much satisfied with this. Money is not an issue for such a big forum. I think they didn't have proper time to concentrate on DP. If money is an issue i have no problems in donating to DP... Although I am very new to business, DP is my platform for years to come...

I don't think it is going to die any time soon but it surely is on a decline of user satisfaction. All these issues and Shawn not logging in for a year just makes everyone feel like this place is getting neglected - which it is.

Im not sure why people are complaining about no adsense.

Isn't beneficial that we can view the forums without Ads. It means faster page loading.
