well I came across many people at DP are banned everyday I think almost in hundreds each day. But why do they have to ban so many people each day, I can agree if the banned members are newbies but I can see people with more than 5000 posts and people who are regular contributors of this forum are banned, is this really good for forum growth?

I don't know, I am not against the staffs of DP but I am just curious coz I never seen any forums which is so strict!! or is it strict or acting crazy I dont know!!

If people read and abide by the rules they won't be banned. The growth of the forum is so great that DP needs to police their rules, thus making it a better experience for the rest of us (less spam etc).

I don't think we enjoyed banning members especially old timers and those members who contributed a lot. The fact that you see newbies as well as old timers being banned from time to time shows that we enforce the rules across the board with no exceptions. Members are banned when they accumulate 5/10 points and will be disbanned when the infraction points expired.

We have to be strict as you can see our member base aren't small. If not, there would be chaos in the forums with spams all over and hard for members to look for the posts they need.

New members are banned when they accumulate 5 points. Older members normally have a 10 point infraction limit.

PM me and 7 Days Infraction was already well known, I guess you will know better next time than to post PM Me or some variants of it again. It is not a stupid infraction. Given that pages upon pages of BST forums are filled with PM Me or I have PM you. We need to act before the forums become unreadable.
