Hello, I'm using Blue Sense which is made by Dosh Dosh. Is this theme good for Adsense? Kindly let me know your view. Thanks
I have found that very plain, simple themes, such as Thesis, are best for AdSense. The busier and fancier your site looks, the more it will draw attention away from your content and your ads, which you do not want.
Blue sense works pretty good, but I've had better luck with a simple design with ads on the left side
What I don't like about the Blue Sense theme is that all the text - headlines, body copy, and links - are the same color blue. Readers expect the text to be black.
It's fine, I used a very similar theme (did it myself) a few years ago, but honestly I got better results by being plain and putting ads in a more obvious manner. So I changed the design and never used a similar one again.
Guys i modified that theme and Currently you can call it "Common Sense" as everything is normal no extra color, only Blue (Link), Black (Text), White (BG).
I used it, and my opinion is this theme may be good if you change some css codes. This theme has a good layout but it's not attractive, the font size, type, background colors...
Yes it sure is. Just checked up on Google and all the articles say it should be good. But from what I think, design shouldn't matter.
It depends on what you are immediate goals. I have used many of the doshdosh themes including Blue Sense and Pro Sense and I have to say that those themes have perhaps the best CTR of any themes produced till date. An average theme with your own customization gets normally 1-2% CTR at the most whereas Pro Sense and Blue Sense gets 10%+ CTR on many occasions. But as I mentioned it depends on what you are targeting as "good for adsense". You can be assured that you will also lose a lot of visitors by using Blue Sense as it is not a visitor friendly layout. On the other hand, other themes might give less CTR and as less as 1% or even lesser at times but they will attract more visitors to your websites instead of driving them away. So, it depends on whether you have short or long term goals.
