is door way page one of kinds of cloak?

it seem door way page is simple form of cloak. right?

 

No doorway pages, or gateway pages are made to drive the user to a specific page or section of a site. Normally you make a doorway page for only one keyword that everyone can see no matter where they come from or what there IP address is.

Cloaking is basically having 2 pages made. One that the viewer see's when they go to the site, and the second is what the search engine will only see. With cloaking you keep a list of the known IP addresses of the search engine crawlers/bots. This way when one of them come to your site, they will be shown page 2 which is full optimized (in some cases spammed with garbage content) for the search engines to try and rank it well. However when the viewer clicks on the link, they are taken to page 1 because there IP address is not in the system as a known bot/crawler.
