I coudn't agree with you more , but I saw in some discution in seo that you can rank your site without any keyword in your domain.

Ditto could not agree more with that. Just because a keyword is expected to make money from the various keyword calculations it does not mean it will. That is something most don't tell you when they sell you their "proven advice about getting rich".

The effect is bad not for seo you can have great seo but the bottom line is if the keyword your targeting has high competition and high ranking websites it is next to impossible to compete ethically with those already well established websites. Well unless your rich and have the man power and resources to do it. My limit is I don't buy a website centered around a keyword unless it has a pagerank of 4 and less and I don't buy a website hoping to compete with pagerank 6 websites.

If you want your site to advertise one thing for one purpose such as adsense on a small niche or something then yes, keyword domains are nice. If you depend upon repeat visitors you should be careful with the domain. It's a slight advantage to have the keyword domain, but it may not be worth it depending upon your sites intentions.

Of course, it is better to have keyword(s) as part of the domain name.

Yeah, if you have a brand name such as SEDO, selling domains and everything else they offer, a good amount of that traffic is repeated so no keywords are required. Word of mouth makes them more customers everyday...

Ya its an added advantage if you have keywords in domain name. But you can even do seo and get rankings without the keywords in the domain name.

Yes, if the keyword that you would like to rank for is a part of your URL it has good effect on SEO. However when you like to rank for a very highly competitive keyword with a newly created website, it is very hard to rank on the first page. So I can recommend Your_Keyword_Games dot com, instead of gamesrank dot com for a newly created website. But of course USE that domain if you have a $xxxx domain like games dot com;)

It is one of the major factor, always go for the domain name with keyword
