I am starting up a website that I want to develop over the next few years. I am a casual domain name investor, so I have about 60 different (.com) domain names that I have acquired over the last year. This month I got Domain Sponsor to park my domains and generate some type-in revenue. Since each domain gets roughly 4 visitors per week, would it be an effective strategy to forward these visitors to my main site, or am I better off continuing the parking program? Does a parked domain receive more visitors the longer it has been parked, or is the number of visitors relatively constant? Has anyone tried pointing many domains to one site, and what were the results? Thanks for your time and any of my questions you may be able to answer.
You have so many scenarios you can chase here. Are you creating substantial amount of money parking the domain names? If you sent 240 hits a week to your new site.. do you have the potential to create more money then parked domains?
The surest way to find out is to test it. If they are not targeted to your forwarded site then you cant expect to see much improvement.
Not really creating a substantial amount of income from parking the domains. I would guess that I could earn much more from my site than a parking program, if I continue to receive roughly 240 hits a week. Thanks for your questions. They made me think. I am definitely going to test it starting Monday. I will post back here with the results in a month or so.
You could also create the 60 domains to be feeder websites into the main website. So the 60 sites Rank for a keyword set with links to your main website...
