Is domain age and important factor

I used a free appraisal website (urlappraisal) that over valuates domain age, the tool gives very high appraisal value for domain age even if the domain has no traffic.

So what do you think is domain age an important factor? And what is domain age history useful for if domain was deleted recently with disconnected traffic?

 

Aged domain is good but not the most important
And none of those appraisal site are giving the accurate result

 

it is good to have an older aged domain because search engines will trust it as a good website and not spam, however it is not the most important thing if there is even any real importance to it. There are more important things such as back links and seo etc

 

I think after Google's Panda update, aged websites are not so important anymore.

 

Aged domains are good sign of Trust surely it will increases the website value

 

Matt Cutts said in a video that as long as the domain is older than 6 months they don't really care how much older it is. Personally I still think age is a factor, just not a very important one.
