Is Documenting My Journey of Building my App a Good Idea?

    Hey I’m Axel,

Starting in 2020, I spent three years following TikTok gurus and struggling with dropshipping. Having learned from my mistakes, I decided to pivot. Despite the challenges, I had learned a lot about e-commerce, especially about the easy traps and parts of the business where it was easy to get stuck. This led me to create PlusSales, a free Shopify app designed to help merchants optimize their stores and increase conversion rates.

Now, I’m considering documenting and talking about my company and journey consistently as a way to get advice and feedback and as a side bonus promote PlusSales. Do you think this is a good idea? Would people care about following this journey?

I’ve seen others share their stories and get great feedback, but I’m unsure if it would work for me. Any advice or thoughts?

Plus, if you’re interested, check out PlusSales at plussales.co

Has anyone done anything similar? Would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Lots of people post here saying they're going to "document their journey" but never follow through. Would you be interested in reading their journey? What's going to be different about your perspective that makes it compelling to return time and again for updates - or to follow on social media?
