Is directory submission is important for new website?

    I will say Directory submission is very important for a new site. This is a slow, natural, SEO friendly process which makes link in a timely manner. Say you submit your site to 1000 directories in starting.... Links will come as first 10 links in 2-3 days...... Next 5 links in 15 days... next 10 links in 30 days. Its a example only.. not exact numbers.

    Search engines do love such kind link gain of websites.
