    another important thing which i want to share with you all is that: if you are going to submit articles to Ezines and/or contribute your articles to newsletters and other sites, DON’T ever forget to include a link to your site.
    A little resource box with a brief description of your site and you should always be placed right after your articles that you have submitted.
    If people like your articles, they will most likely click on the link directing them to your site.

    Ok if Directories Submission Is not efficient then Why People firstly Submitting their Website to Directories.. Because Directories submission is also a great way to build you backlinks .. But we have to submit our site to Fast Approval Directories & Quality Directories for better Results...

    Directory submissions is old but this one is still work ,but befour posting your link you must know the directory page rank,Alexa rank and how many pages indexed in google. social book marking and video marketing is also good

    Don't forget, it matters in which directory you submit your links. If it's a spam full directory, best to avoid that one.
